Get acquainted with your room and then join us downstairs in the lounge for a full afternoon tea to easy away the stresses and strains of your journey and allow you the opportunity to get to know your fellow guests and your hosts for the duration of your

Later join us for dinner at our Lake View Restaurant to enjoy our delicious Sunday Roast, followed by a relaxing evening with our local storyteller Taffy Thomas creating a very festive atmosphere.

Christmas Eve: 24th December

After a good night’s sleep, enjoy a full English Breakfast and then afterwards why not take a gentle stroll and enjoy exploring the area at your leisure. In the evening after you have thoroughly relaxed and slippped into something a little more formal join us for a glass of fizz and a selection of canapes in the bar and lounge from 7.00pm, then adjourn to our Lake View Restaurant to enjoy a delicious dinner, with the local Amabile Choir serenading you with a selection of seasonal tunes.

For those wishing to enjoy the Christmas service at St. Martin’s in nearby Bowness you will be able to enjoy homemade cookies and a mug of warming hot chocolate on your return to the Ryebeck.

Christmas Day: 25th December

After checking your stockings to see if the gent with the big white beard, who has a penchant for dressing in red, has left you a little something, we’ll be serving a full Lakeland breakfast with a glass of Bucks Fizz overlooking the lake.
Once you’ve eaten your fill the rest of the morning is yours to enjoy and relax… for those feeling a little more active you could always enjoy a turn around our gardens or an explore a little further afield… but don’t forget to be back in time for our four-course festive lunch served with all the trimmings and a generous helping of seasonal cheer at 12.30pm… and a glass of fizz to get things underway.

After lunch you can enjoy some downtime before reconvening in the evening for an informal buffet supper before rounding off the day with a good old-fashioned movie and helping of popcorn, ice cream and nostalgic treats…

Boxing Day: 26th December

After a hearty breakfast on Boxing Day morning you can a take a little time to yourself and enjoy some me time before a light lunch at 12.30pm, followed by a private cruise on-board Miss Cumbria, taking in the winter scenes from Windermere, England’s longest lake, whilst savouring a mug of something hot, before returning to the comfort of The Ryebeck to curl up and relax with a glass of mulled wine and a selection of our delicious cakes.

Join us in the evening suitably glammed up in all your finery for canapes and a glass of fizz in the bar, followed by a sumptuous five course dinner. We have a surprise up our sleeves in the form of a magician who will astound you with sleight of hand and more… the perfect way to round off a truly magical festive evening.

27th December

After a leisurely Lakeland breakfast, it’s time to say our goodbyes before journeying homeward…

Terms & Conditions:
All Christmas bookings must be secured with a deposit of £150 per person. This is refundable up until the 31st August 2018. After this time, we will retain the deposit unless the room is re-let. All rooms cancelled after the 1st November 2018 will be charged in full if not re-let. The full amount is payable no later than 30th November. Please ensure your holiday is covered by adequate insurance.

Please note we make every effort to re-let a room should you unexpectedly have to cancel but we respectively remind guests that a reservation is a legally binding contract.
